The doctor diagnosed me when I was one year old. My father never left my side and went to every doctor and place to check on me. He used to say, "I wish I could give him some of my own life." He was very worried about me because of my illness. I didn't know what fear felt like, but since the beginning of the war, I have felt fear and exhaustion. My condition worsened because there was no treatment available. My mother took me from one hospital to another to check on my health. Since the beginning of the war, I have felt fear and exhaustion. We were displaced from place to place, walking on foot, and my father wasn't with us. We were displaced alone. When we returned and saw my father, we felt comfort, happiness, reassurance, and safety, but this feeling would soon disappear because my father wasn't with us. For a while, we were displaced alone, and we would hear news about my father and check on him from relatives. One day, my mother received a call. We didn't realize what was happening until we heard her collapse and cry. That's when we knew we had lost the most precious thing we had.
