He was the father I was deprived of, and the word "Baba" (Dad) that I hear from my friends breaks my heart. ❤️ It's not envy or malice, but longing for my father's words and his embrace. We endured so much during this war: displacement, hunger, and loss, but losing my father was the hardest. Then came the loss of my second father, my uncle, who was close to my heart, kind to me, and who never denied me anything, always compensating for my shortcomings. But even my uncle was taken from me by the Zionist occupation; they killed him, and he joined my father as a martyr. This is the story of an orphaned girl from Gaza whose dream was to have her father's embrace and her uncle's affection. I ask God to mend our hearts and compensate us for our loss. Show less
