My father loved me very much because I'm his only daughter. He spoiled me, played with me, and told my siblings not to upset or hit me. When the war started, we were displaced, moving from place to place on foot. My father wasn't with us; we were displaced alone. When we returned and saw him, we felt comforted, happy, reassured, and safe. But this feeling would quickly disappear because my father wasn't with us. For a while, we were displaced alone, and we would hear news about my father and check on him from close friends and family. One day, my mother received a call. We didn't realize what was happening until we heard her collapse and cry. That's when we knew we had lost the most precious thing we had.
